HR Now! President Recognized in Honor of Famed Entrepreneur, Madame C. J. Walker
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - HR Now! is the second recipient of the Madam C. J. Walker Award for Outstanding Business Achievement on June 13, 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the 1st Annual Madam C. J. Walker Award Celebration and Business Symposium hosted by Minorities and Women in Business Magazine (MWIB).

MWIB, in partnership with A'Lelia Bundles (the great-great granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker), and The Madam C.J. Walker Theatre Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, presented Gwen Thomas, President of HR Now! the award from a list of 75 candidates and the final five finalists. The award was created to recognize the strides that female entrepreneurs are making by following in the steps paved by America's first African-American, female millionaire.
